At the dawn of the year 2007

Last night, Carrie and I celebrated the dawn of the new year with Narumi, Carrie's coworker, and her family, enjoying the great view of fireworks exploded from Taipei 101. It was the first time for Carrie and I to celebrate the New Year as a married couple, so we wished that this new year would be a full of happiness, affection, gratitude, and most importantly, God's blessings.

Carrie will move to Okinawa early March quitting her job in Taiwan, and we're going to begin our new life together. It won't be easy to adjust oneself to new surroundings, and it may take a while to get used to it, so I sure will help her adapt to the new environment both physically and mentally. I heartly wish that she will be happy with every single day she spends in Okinawa.

Now, at the dawn of the year 2007, as I did last year, I'd like to write down this year's resolutions:
  1. To pass Chinese language proficiency test 3rd grade
  2. To be good at time management
  3. To keep online diary almost "everyday" in English
  4. To jog or bike at least twice a week
  5. To read "20 minutes Daily Catholic Bible" everyday
  6. To make a declaration to my wife when I buy something of more than 3,000 yen (^^;
  7. To pray "Hail Marry" with Carrie every night before going to bed

It was very warm and crisp outside this morning. While walking down the street with Carrie after having had a breakfast, I felt very peaceful and naturally came to wish that Taiwan would continue to develop and people would enjoy peaceful and prosperous life.
