The year 2003 is about to drop its curtain, and the new year opens its door in several hours.
Looking back upon this concluding year, I come upon a word, which most appropriately describs my own personal life: "changes"...
The year 2003 began in the US when I was still enrolled in SIU. It was in May that I got back to Japan for the first time after 2 years graduating from SIU. I then took the teacher's exams in July for the first round as well as in August for the second one...(Fortunately, I could somehow pass the exam with the cheerful and encouraging supports from many people...) In August, I paid a visit to Taiwan for the first time. It was in September that I first taught English in a public high school as a substitute teacher, which lasted till the end of October for 2 months. In December, I worked part-time for a rice-milling plant. And now, I'm in Taiwan again spending the last moment of this passing year... So, the forthecoming new year is going to begin in Taiwan...
I wish that the year 2004 will allow us to share with each other abundant of joy and love... As long as we can walk along with God, everything will surely be fine as is said in the Bible as follows: seek God above anything else, and everything will be granted along with it...
May "Peace" be given to those threatened in war and in disaster... May "Love" be granted to those disappointed with a lack of affection and understanding...
